Matcha More Please: Green Tea Latte

One of my favorite things in the colder months is a homemade matcha green tea latte. This is one of the most comforting things to me, in the early mornings, frost on the ground, relaxing music and a little boost of caffeine. I have played with different ingredients to create different textures, flavors and sweetness. Here is a #Khepricafe favorite!


LATTE

1 1/4 tsp matcha powder (quality of matcha green tea makes a huge difference) 1 Tbsp maple syrup (stevia or preferred sweetener) more or less to preference + depending on sweetness of preferred milk. 1 Tbsp hot water 2 cups favorite milk 1/2 full tincture Higher Healing CBD Oil

1. Add matcha powder to your serving mug along with sweetener of choice and hot water. (If adding add-ins like maca root, protein powder, or coconut butter, add at this time.) 2. Whisk with a bamboo whisk or a metal whisk until completely dissolved. Bamboo whisks are gentle on the matcha and also help it dissolve more completely. 3. Once the matcha is completely dissolved, heat milk (or other dairy-free milks) on the stovetop until hot and steamy .To get more froth, you can whisk vigorously. 4. Drizzle over with Higher Healing CBD Oil. 5. Enjoy immediately. **To encourage different tastes, depths and creaminess mix it up with your sweeteners or milks.**



Suggestions: Vanilla Flax milk (added sweetness and depth) Cashew Nut or Macadamia Nut Milk (for added creaminess) Coconut Milk Maple Syrup Stevia RAW Sugar
